Arrive at Delhi and be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel where you will have your first night in Delhi. After breakfast we have sightseeing of New Delhi where you
visit Red
Fort a unique photo opportunity. Red Fort is a massive sandstone fort built by Shah Jahan on the banks
of river Yamuna, we then go on to Jama
Masjid - which is the largest mosque in India and stands across the road from the Red Fort. It was
built in 1656 by Shahjahan and about 20,000 people can pray here at a time. We then visit Rajghat - which is the cremation ground of the great father of the nation, Mahatama Gandhi. Further visits include Qutub Minar-
which is the tower of victory started by Qutub-Ud-Din-Aibak in 1199AD upon becoming
sultan of Delhi, the Lotus
temple-
a distinctive lotus shaped marvel in marble which is a symbol peace, we also visit the Presidents
House (but only from outside) and India
Gate (the war memorial).
After breakfast
at the hotel we set off for our drive to Jaipur and upon arrival check into the Hotel. The drive will take
approximately 5/6 hours. When we arrive the rest of time will be free at leisure.
Overnight stay at Hotel in Jaipur. After breakfast we begin a full
day city tour of Jaipur including an excursion to Amber
fort.
Climb up the fort on elephant’s
back (Subject to availability) like the Maharajas and visit the Amber Palace of the
Kuchchawa rulers. Later visit half day city tour of Pink City which includes Hawa
Mahal : the palace of winds (Photo-stop), Jantar
Mantar : Science lovers will love Jantar mantar, an observatory built by the founder
of Jaipur in 1728AD and the City
Palace Museums which contain the original collection of the Maharajas of Jaipur. Overnight
stay at hotel.
After breakfast we drive to Agra and en-route visit Fatehpur
Sikri built in red sandstone by Emperor Akbar to commemorate the birth of his son.
Upon arrival at Agra we check in to the hotel.
In the afternoon we visit Taj
Mahal (Taj Mahal Closed on Friday). Taj Mahal is perhaps the most photographed monument
in the world. It's possible that you because you have seen so many picture
of the building that you may feel you might be disappointed with the real thing - trust us, you won't. Quite the opposite. Return to the hotel. After breakfast proceed
to visit Agra
Fort.
The elegant building inside reflecting an interesting synthesis of Hindu and
Central Asian architectural style built by Emperor Akbar. Overnight stay at
hotel.
After breakfast at Hotel in Agra spend the morning at leisure. In the afternoon we drive to Delhi International airport for your connecting flight to your onward destination.
