Kerala is a beautiful part of south-west India, facing the Arabian Ocean. Hundreds of years ago several unusually large tropical monsoons washed over the whole region, leaving in their wake lakes and lagoons. Over the years, and with careful management, these have been preserved and enhanced and integrated with the other natural waterways, to provide something totally unique. The Kerala mountains are high in the north and east, the Kerala beaches idyllic in the west, the east provides culture and history whilst the south provides the stunning backwaters. There is truly something for everybody in Kerala, god's own country.
We've put together an interactive map that shows the areas, major towns, sights and other information. It is useful if you require either a quick look at Kerala, or as a ready reference. It can be accessed here, as well as the bottom left of every page - enjoy. When you get there simply click on whatever interests you. We also have a 5 minute video that is viewable on the web right now.
We've tried to include a lot of what we think you might like to know about Kerala in the pages at the left. If, however, we haven't been successful for you, please do tell us what you would like to know and we'll endeavour to accommodate. Contact us.....
